What if all references to things we once thought we knew about changed, and everything we knew became new and unfamiliar. I am sure we would feel lost and probably very frightened.

This paper concerns that very possibility. The new bamboo stalk, shown in the picture, reaches into the sky and finds itself being moved by the slightest movement of air. The bamboo knows whether the air is warm, or air that is too strong that would not allow the bamboo to continue growing? One bamboo leaf can be seen sticking out at the top of the stalk receiving sunlight as well as rain or the cool the evening moonlight. The intelligence of the bamboo knows how to bend and sway in the new space it has grown into. The bamboo becomes accustomed to the temperature, wind and water and even makes the decision to grow another leaf, and another stalk until a very strong group of resistant bamboo stalks bind together and form a community of stalks which will thrive in their new space.

We too will have to sense the changes in the world of which we are about to grow into. It will be a new world that seems very familiar, but will in fact be a very new and different world. We are living in a time when a new dimension will be forthcoming.

But what exactly is this new dimension forthcoming I am referring to? There is a major premise, which must be formulated in order to have a discussion on humankind's new dimension of forthcoming, or emergence. The premise is that human consciousness is going to change as a result of a specific relationship between our solar system and the center of our galaxy. This premise will require some understanding of celestial mechanics. This specific relationship has captured the attention of astronomer priests for thousands of years. The relationship I am referring to is called the "Great Year" which is a cycle, which takes about 26,000 years to complete. The cycle is called the precession of the equinoxes. At the end of the cycle the sun in our local solar system aligns itself with the center of our Milky Way galaxy. This cycle is now taking place and the alignment of the solar meridian with the center of the galaxy will last for another 14 years with the most popular year for the alignment being 2012, which coincides with the end of the Mayan long count calendar system. But it was not only the Mayan's that were knowledgeable about this cyclical phenomenon. The great sages and astronomer priests of India were well aware of this alignment and in fact called the center of the galaxy the eye of Brahma or "Vishnunabhi".

The attention paid to this heavenly cycle was researched extensively by the late Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy, former curator for the Asian Arts Department at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. A book was recently released titled, "Guardians of the Sun Doors", a book from unpublished papers by Coomaraswamy that had been collecting dust for over 50 years. It is truly a poetic and scholarly book on Coomarswamy's life work showing the significance of the Sagittarius archer depicted in the constellation by the same name.

But before I delve into the significance of this galactic alignment, as it relates to a change in human consciousness, I have posed a few questions for myself so I would have some reference of a consciousness shift or some other discernible change in the way I would perceive things.

So, giving over to the mind set of a change in consciousness means that my present awareness is undergoing some changes, and it's conceivable that how I express myself is a result of those changes. Furthermore, what I do from day to day would also reflect those changes as would the way I even think about everything. I would go on to say that any choices I made would also reflect those changes and in fact everything would be a part of the changes that are occurring. I would literally see changes in everything.

Like the single bamboo stalk reaching skyward and bending with each disturbance of the air, I too am being pushed from one idea to the next as a result of my mind and body being exposed to waves of cosmic radiation spiraling from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Perhaps more coincidences may occur in my life. Perhaps a different frequency of encountering people will take place. And given the possibility that these changes really are taking place are these changes conducive to human evolution or are these changes beyond the scope of human understanding and the universe is only playing out it's dance of destruction and creativity?

These above expressed questions and concerns address the premise that humanity is undergoing massive societal changes. No part of the earth is without change being wrought upon it. Whether it be the arctic ice cap melting, or millions of frogs going extinct, as well as thousands of other species, the planet is showing visible signs of dynamic changes.

One specific change taking place in the social order, which I am closely drawn to, are our spiritual changes. This has been referred to as a new dimension forthcoming, or even a new way to see existence emerging through the tangible outcroppings of expressed ideas, which would in turn reveal new aspects about humankind's place in the universe. These new ideas associated with spiritual change would lead to a divine path of existence, which would encourage and draw human thought into realms once the sole purview of scholars, holy men, and scientists. One such individual who has been revisioning philosophy and cosmology into an interactive hierarchical stairway into the divine Mother Mode is Dr. Vidyardhi Nanduri with his "Cosmology Interlinks Vedas". The cross-fertilization of Vedic cosmology with the evolution of the soul is a way to prepare the mind to expand into a multi-dimensional universe. Viewing Dr. Nanduri's diagrams in describing these evolutionary changes is also pure poetry as well as a way to see the steps that can be taken to the endless reaches of our universe. These are surely diagrammatic expressions of those changes that our local solar system's alignment with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy is causing in Dr. Nanduri's mind.

The Tandava-dance of Shiva is accelerating and spinning all of existence into a new mode of relatedness.

With this as an introduction I would now like to bring into focus other discoveries directly related to the energy emanating from the Eye of Brahma and its effects on our consciousness. The areas to be considered are the formative areas for the actualization of our very existence in this universe.

Before I begin, however I would like to introduce the Gayatri Mantra so that a divine focus can start with our new found powers to explore the universe we are about to make passage into. The Gayatri mantra is considered to be the mother of all Vedas.

Aum Bhur Bhuva Swah
Tatsavitur varenyam,
Bhargo dewasya dhimahi,
dhiyo yo nah prachodayat.

Translated:

O Lord! You are the omnipresent, omnipotent and almighty.
You are all light.
You are all the knowledge and bliss.
You are destroyer of fear.
You are creator of this universe.
You are the greatest of all.
We bow and meditate upon your light.
You guide our intellect in the right direction.

When a newer understanding of the ancient Sanskrit of the mantra is analyzed, as has been done by Dr. Nanduri, the new translation reads as follows.

The earth, the planets, and the galaxies, are moving at a great velocity,
the sound produced is OM.
That Lord, who manifests in the form of light of suns is worth of bowing.
We all, therefore, should meditate upon the light of that deity and also do chanting of OM.
May the Lord guide in the right direction our intellect.

As I live in Thailand I took a special pilgrimage to Boh Ya Cave at Tham Boh Ya Temple to pay my respects to Lord Shiva. The Boh Ya Cave is located in the Khao Luang Forest Park of the Wang Ma Sub-district, Amphur Lat Yao, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand. It is in the cave that Guhesvara, Lord of the Caves, meditates and brings into existence and out of existence all the universes and all the transcendental universes. It bodes well to bow to Lord Shiva.
